Lots of exciting events are taking place here in Williamsburg, Va. Celebrate the 4th with fun historical events and end your Independence Day with an impressive fireworks display.
 
Williamsburg July 4th Events
10:00 a.m. Salute to the States behind the Courthouse

12:00 p.m. A Declaration of Independence on the west side of the Capitol

5:30 p.m. Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums march from the Capitol to Market Square

6 p.m. Heritage of America Band, United States Air Force, Langley, performs in Market Square

7:45 p.m. Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums perform on Palace Green

9:30 p.m. Fireworks begin!
 
We are also looking forward to Sentara’s annual July 4th Ice Cream Social fundraiser and a plate full of sweets.
