Old Dominion Military Society presents GUNS OF AUGUST 2012!
This is the third year ODMS will be hosting this summer gaming event and it will take place August 10 – 12, 2012 in Williamsburg, VA. Their goal is to host a convention that features as many interesting participation games and events as possible. The theme of this event will be “1862: A House Divided”. The Old Dominion Military Society will be remembering the 150th Anniversary of the events that took place in 1862 during The Civil War. Though this is the theme of the event, games at the convention will cover every possible period known to gamers.
The event will include:
- Miniatures: Many games are planned and open gaming is available.
- Tournaments: Tournaments include Flames of War, Warrior, DBA and More.
- RPGs: There will be a variety of roleplaying games and tournaments.
- Raffle, Hospitality Suite, Vendors
- Flea Market
- Historical Reenactors
- Awards Program
